Jenna's Take on Treatment

"I believe that authenticity is one of the most important aspects of therapy. I enjoy working with my clients to identify their values and thrive as their most authentic selves."

 Approach to Therapy

Jenna’s approach to therapy is patient, creative, and authentic. Jenna understands that each person is unique and strives to incorporate clients’ strengths, values, and personal interests in their treatment. Jenna’s goal is to meet clients where they are and create a treatment plan that makes the most sense for them, which often requires creativity and flexibility. She incorporates various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure & Response Prevention, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. She specializes in working with all types of anxiety and OCD as well as anxiety related disorders. She is comfortable working with children, teens, and adults and often incorporates families and supportive others in the treatment process.

Experience and Training

Jenna obtained her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Aurora University. She has experience working at the PHP/IOP level of care, where she has worked with adolescents and adults. While in graduate school, Jenna completed internships at Northwestern Medicine Behavioral Health in St. Charles, Illinois and Pathlights, a senior services agency in south suburban Cook County. Prior to joining The OCD & Anxiety Center, Jenna worked in the OCD & Complex Anxiety program at Compass Health Center in Northbrook, Illinois. In this role, Jenna developed a passion for helping clients through exposure therapy.
