Approach to Therapy
Maggie’s therapeutic style is genuine, supportive, and compassionate. She recognizes that every individual is unique and focuses on integrating clients' strengths, values, and personal interests into their treatment. Maggie understands that clients are experts on themselves and works to collaboratively and creatively create a treatment plan that is unique to the individual. She establishes rapport easily and employs a direct but compassionate approach. Treatment is often structured and goal oriented so you can see progress regularly. She uses a range of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). Maggie specializes in treating various types of anxiety, OCD, and related disorders. She works comfortably with children, teens, and adults, often involving families and other support systems in the therapy process.
Experience and Training
Maggie obtained her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Aurora University and has spent several years working with children, teens and adults struggling with OCD, anxiety, and anxiety-related disorders. She has worked in outpatient as well as PHP/IOP levels of care and thus is familiar with more severe symptomatology. She specializes in CBT and Exposure and Response Prevention and has a strong passion for working with kids and teens.

Maggie grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and painting.
