Natalie's Take on Treatment

"Stepping into a therapist’s office is a daunting task, but it shows you have the courage to challenge yourself and to face the unknown. As a therapist, I am honored to be a part of your healing process and hold the utmost respect for those who recognize the need for change. My goal is to establish a therapeutic alliance that supports your goals and values through a collaborative approach with you in the driver’s seat. Life never has a shortage of discomfort, but I aim to help clients lean into that discomfort to experience their best possible self and find satisfaction in their journey.”

Approach to Therapy

Natalie's approach to therapy emphasizes the importance of human relationships and collaboration to create a treatment plan that is tailored to one's own needs and goals. She aims to create a safe, comfortable environment where clients feel motivated to challenge themselves at a steady pace while incorporating their values and interests. Natalie prioritizes a non-judgmental, open-minded atmosphere within the physical environment along with the therapeutic relationship to achieve a raw understanding of a client's challenges. She has extensive training and experience with therapeutic modalities and interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Natalie takes a combination of these approaches to assist clients in identifying negative thought patterns and behaviors that impair day-to-day functioning. She believes motivation to change comes from oneself and shapes treatment to meet clients where they are at in the therapeutic process. Natalie approaches treatment with a trauma-informed, culturally responsive lens to provide services that align with her clients’ values and strengths.
