Jenn's Take on Treatment
“Although it can sometimes be scary and intimidating talking to a stranger about personal issues you may not have discussed with anyone before, therapy is a safe, nonjudgmental place to help you realize your goals and potential. You are not alone. Many people can benefit from a little extra support now and then, especially when life throws you a curve ball or you may find yourself pulled in too many directions at once from pressures from work, family, and friends. Therapy is a great place to help us find some balance in our lives and work through things that may be holding us back.”
Approach to Therapy
Dr. Hambaugh works with each patient to form a collaborative team-like approach. She believes in creating a safe environment to help patients with internal exploration and realize their personal goals. Dr. Hambaugh tries to meet patients wherever they are in life to help them address aspects of their life they wish to improve or adapt. She works with patients to identify areas in which patients may feel stuck or overwhelmed, and she develops an individualized plan, building off strengths, to help them live their best lives.
